I call them tweezer tips. Anyway, after making a simple wooden handle that will fit on the Tormek tool rest, these have enabled be to sharpen narrow blades like small pocket, and fillet knife blades. It does take a bit of careful alignment, but I used two pair of these for the longer fillet knives on a Tormek. Thumbs up emoticon.

Item is being badly reviewed due to unclear instructions. My only complaint is that it does not handle dagger/Diamond shaped grinds very well (no clamping assembly does) You need to dissasemble the clamping assembly on the worksharp by unscrewing the clamp until the long bolt that runs through the wheel. once that is out you can remove the old clamping head. Next, mount the 2 clamps individually on the supplied aluminum T block. There is a groove to fit the longer potion of the block into the back of the clamps. The provided bolts (not the ones in the bag) go into the clamps here to bolt it to the assembly. Once assembled, place on the original clamping block, drop the long bolt back through the middle hole, align it with the white washer first, and then the black flywheel that adjusts the clamp. Once it's in the flywheel, tighten until secure. Your new assembly is ready to stick into your worksharp.

It did not fit the two protrusions that supposed to fit in the clamp from the original Work Sharp magnetic holder. I had to modify it to fit in the holder. Now it works because I modified to fit. Not worth the 50+ dollars. Find another clamp.
