The Coticule Dressing Stone is intended for cleaning the surface of Belgium coticule sharpening stones and BBW (Belgian blue) stones after use and is not used in the sharpening process.
Yellow coticules are fixed to a backing of blue-grey slate Pierre des Pyrénées (or similar) for durability.
The variances of size, color, shape and exact composition is normal. Hairline fractures are normal and not considered a defect.
Weight: 100 - 120 g.
