Description

6" Multi Upgrade Kit for Work Sharp Precision Adjust includes everything to start effectively using 6" stones (Edge Pro form-factor and flat end stones).

The kit includes:

LE Series 6" Stone Holder
KakBritva Wide Slit Clamp with 7mm opening (special)
GearConnect mini-adapter
V-Block Clamp Support

To work with the clamp, 4mm hex screwdriver is required (not included).

How to use

Please watch the clamp installation guide before purchasing the kit.

Note. The special version of KakBritva clamp does not include the mounting backplate shown in the video.

I really enjoy my worksharp now, with the gritomatic accessories, it's a game changer, I was getting so frustrated with the standard clamp that came wit it, now I don't feel like I have to find a whole new system. Thank You; Gritomatic.

Absolutely a must upgrade to the Work Sharp precision knife sharpener. The knife clamp allows a wider range of knife sizes big and small. The 6 inch stone holder allows you to get your own diamond stones instead of having to buy a new set of Work Sharp stones. The wedge holds the knife clamp in place so you can sharpen knives without much movement improving consistent knife angles.

The 6” Multi Upgrade has worked well for me. So far I have used the kit on just 3 knives and it worked great on all 3. These were smaller bladed knives, the smallest being a Buck Cadet, and it was the first time I was able to to sharpen them on the Work Sharp Precision Adjust. For reference, the sharpened edge of the main blade of the little Buck is about 2” long by 1/16” thick by 7/16 wide. I am still using the original Precision Adjust stones, but I am am shopping for some 6” diamond stones. If anyone has the Work Sharp Precision Adjust, and is frustrated because they can’t sharpen their smaller knives, the 6” Multi Upgrade works well, and for me was a worthwhile upgrade.

I think it's a really good upgrade. The only thing I can't say is a con is that the knife mount needs thin rubber inside where it grips the blade. I suggest scratched my dlc coated blade. If I didn't use my knives like I do then if be more upset. Mind you the knife is new and it's the first scratches on it it'll get more by the time I'm finished with it.

Fit is perfect. It definitely makes a HUGE difference in stability for my Work sharp precision adjust. Still getting used to using this system, but I can tell I will be able to get a much more precise edge on my knives. Well worth the price.

Good holder. Wish it had a fin to grip on top. I like this one a little better than the 3D printed 4 to 6 inch adjustable holder on Etsy for 6 inch stones. This one is a little more stable and can be gripped nearly anywhere along it's length.
